Personal Statement
Nothing has captured my heart like running has since I first started in 7th grade. I wasn’t very good when I first started but I have worked hard to progress by large margins every season and my last 2 years of high school running won’t be any different. I have spent much of my running career riding the lows but my passion for this sport drives me to work hard everyday so that I will eventually reach my dreams. Being part of a nationally renowned program like La Salle has also taught me how to put my team first in pursuit of championships. I hope to major in psychology in college and pursue a career as a sports psychologist in the long term. I believe that I have the talent, grades, attitude, and work ethic to run at the collegiate level.
