Tyrek Weeks '17 Recruiting Profile

As a kid and up until now, I have always been very interested in learning about different cultures, types of arts, sciences, and being in diverse surroundings. As far as my goals, I have many of those. I hope to be accepted to a good college and major in Biology, then go on and study Dentistry. I would also like to continue my track career while attending college. I believe I would be a great for your team because I know I have what it takes, and even if I'm not where I should be yet I know I can put in the work to get there.

In the near future, I believe I can accomplish all of these things and more while attending college. I am a hard worker and I put my all into everything I do. Academics, athletics, and accomplishing my goals. Overall I am trying to be the best person I can be to make myself proud, but I am also trying hard to lead as an example for my younger siblings. I come from a small town, but I intend on making a lot of noise in the near future with my accomplishments I know I can achieve. As Martin Luther King Jr. once said, “Faith is taking the first step even when you don't see the whole staircase.”
