Chance Bloodworth '24 Recruiting Profile

My name is Chance Bloodworth, I am a middle distance/distance runner from Walhalla, SC, currently specializing in the 800m and 1600m in track, and the 5k in cross country. I was first introduced to running with an after school group called Let Me Run, but I did not give my full focus to running until last year. Prior to that point I had been playing baseball and basketball along with track and cross country. The sport has helped me focus on strengthening myself physically and mentally in order to become a better athlete and student.  Academically I would like to graduate within the top 5% of my class and then pursue a degree in the field of either aviation, business, or chemistry.  I am self driven with a strong desire to be at the top of whatever endeavor I strive towards.
