Pierce Baumberger '25 Recruiting Profile

Hard work has never scared me!  When many student athletes were discouraged as activities were shut down due to COVID-19, I took it as an opportunity to work harder to reach my goals.  For example, I trained over 300 miles that uncertain summer because the road was my happy place. I also ran my first half marathon that summer because I was determined to compete.  Even though life is returning more towards normal, I continue to hit the road, the weight room, and pool, often times alone, to get closer to reaching my goals.  My same work ethic carries over to the classroom, where my success comes from much hard work and endless determination.
