Caleb Merrill '28 Recruiting Profile

Hello. My name is Caleb Merrill. I am a distance runner for East Hamilton High School. I do my best on and off the track, trying to get acceptable grades while running my complete heart out simultaneously. In the classroom, I am the kind of guy who does the right thing and makes the right friends. I am a great example in the classroom, although teachers can get very annoying and friends saying dumb stuff can be hard for me sometimes, I can keep my composure very well. On the Track, I am a very competitive but great sport. I love every distance 400 up (go see my stats every year), and I love winning. Track and Cross Country have made me grow as an athlete, person, sibling, and student in my life. By the time I graduate, I want to (hopefully) go to a D1 college and show my talents on and off the course/track. For my career, I plan on going into paleontology. I love dinosaurs, and I have since I was 3 years old. I want to take both my passion for running and dinosaurs and give it to the college I want to go to.
