I first knew I loved to run was during soccer. When our soccer coach would make the team run, I was the only one who actually enjoyed running. I started running in Elementary School when in my first race ever, I got first place! During middle school is when I really started to take running seriously. In 8th grade I was picked by my high school coach to run up and that was the first year our team has won State. Ever since then running has been my life. I became really competitive in almost everything from running to school. I highly believe in the teamwork aspect in a team, and I believe that there is no I in team. I am a 4-time state champion and I have been an all-state athlete 3 times in cross country and 5 times in track. I believe I am ready to take it to the next level and run in college.
I go to Signal Mountain High School which is a IB school. I have been going here since 6th grade. I currently take 1 IB class, 1 Honors class, and 1 D.E class. I make sure I work hard in school and to have good grades. I also broke the school running record twice in XC 5K, 1600m/3200m, and with those wins have become our schools fastest runner.
