Running has always been a way to push myself and better discipline myself mentally with everyday life. Cross Country and Track is a huge part of my life and one day I would love to pursue coaching. I strive to be a leader for my team and help push my teammates to be the best runners and motivated athletes the best they can be. My coaches have described me as a "quiet leader" and I've served as team captain of the Cross Country team throughout my high school career. I had the opportunity to run in state competitions in both Track and Cross Country, helping guide my 4X800 relay team to a fourth place finish in May of 2024. To continue running at the next level would be an honor and would help better prepare me for my future coaching career. I've been told that I'm very coachable and I try to always apply any correction given to my next practice, race, or endeavor. Hard work is something that I'm familiar with, as I maintain a good GPA, serve my church in many capacities, hold a part time job, and serve as Senior Class President. My attitude, work ethic, and coachability will all be beneficial as I look forward to college.
