2021 Spotlight Personal Statement
My goals are to go to the Olympics in 2024 for the 1500m, 5000m, and 10000m. Every day I work my hardest in academics and athletics. I am in a youth club, at the moment, Lake Cities Cross Country, which is a Track, Road Race, and Cross Country club. The high school I am going to go to is Boyd High School, in Boyd, Texas. As of now, I hold the 5K World Record for the 12 year old boys age group (16:22.9), 11 all American awards for AAU, 5 AAU National Titles, and the AAU club championships 11 year old boys 3000m national record (10:08.20). I also hold the 3K course record (9:51) at McAlpine Park at the Foot Locker course in North Carolina. I am also the National Record Holder for 13 year old boys 3k with a time of 9:14.
