Tanaka Tava '17 Recruiting Profile

It was not until Sophomore year I had discovered my love for running Track and Field and Cross Country.  And it was not until this past Junior year season I blossomed into a competitive athlete all across the board. I have always aspired to compete at a collegiate level in all the sports I participated in. With my determination and heart present in both my academia and athletic career, I knew nothing will stop me from reaching my destination.

While in a rigorous learning environment that comes from the IB Diploma program, I was able to maintain my ability to focus on many aspects of the sport and the multiple clubs and activities that I partake in.  All of this, especially,  running track/cross country has molded me into my goal of becoming a modern renaissance man. A young man who is able to take multiple learning experiences from my journey and leave a strong impact on my team. With a mindset of nothing is impossible, competitive sports is only one small part of who I am today.  I am thoroughly excited to looking for a collegiate program that I can leave a lasting program of positivity, greatness all in the while representing The Lord.
