Louie Adams '23 Recruiting Profile

MOTTO:  The difference between the impossible and the possible lies in a person's determination and spirit.

JR HIGH SCHOOL:  I ran track in 7th grade and won district. in 8th grade, I came in 2nd running 110m hurdles. along with track, I have been playing Football since i was 5 years old. i've been on 7 on 7 teams and was accepted onto the USA National Football team for several years.

HIGH SCHOOL:     9th grade, I made and lettered in the Varsity Track team and set the school record in the 110 hurdle event (THE COVID PANDEMIC CUT THE SEASON SHORT)  I played Football and was running back in 9th grade and participated in 7 on 7 teams as well.

10th grade, i made Varsity Track team for my 2nd year in a row. I made 2nd in district for 110m hurdles, 3rd in area for 110m hurdles, and 10th in regional for 110m hurdles. I am an  AAU JR OLYMPIC qualifier for 110m hurdles as well as 400m hurdles. I made Varsity Football and played as running back and corner back. I am currently on Varsity for both Track and Football for the upcoming 11th grade school year.

WORK ETHIC:  I do weight lifting and also workout with a private Track Coach year round. During off seasons, I workout with private trainers 3 times a week. This allows me to stay in shape and constantly improve on my footwork, form, etc.

ACADEMICS: Academically I have struggled in the past. Recently, I was tested and found out that I am dyslexic. I have been placed in the 504 plan at school and have been given the tools to help me overcome my struggles with my schoolwork. Because of the help I've received, I am now making all A's and B's and continuing to improve academically.

PERSONAL STATEMENT: I believe that with stamina, hard work, strength, skill, spirit and the ability to be coachable, I will be an asset for any team.
