I discovered my passion and talent for running a few years ago when participating in a school cross country event in Sydney, Australia where my family was living at the time. I knew right away that running was something I wanted to pursue seriously. The next year I set a goal to qualify for the Australian All-School National Cross Country Championships. I trained hard and was able to meet my goal in 2016 as well in the next year at the 2017 National Athletics Championships.
It is my goal to compete at the collegiate level at a top division 1 school. I am a hard worker and take my training seriously. I am coachable, motivated, and dedicated to meeting my goals. I very much enjoy being part of a team with a strong focus and determination. I am encouraging and supportive of other team members to help them when I can to meet their goals.
Pursuing my goal of running at a the collegiate level would also allow me to pursue my academic goals. I am a good student, hard working, and take my academics seriously. I know that running at the collegiate level would provide me an invaluable opportunity for a quality education.
Running is my life and I can't imagine doing anything else.
My freshman and sophomore years were completed in Raleigh, NC where I attended and competed for Sanderson High School. At the start of my Junior year my family relocated to St. George, UT. I will finish out my high school years at Desert Hills High School.
