My name is Owen Dube-Johnson. As a sophomore, I decided to switch from soccer to cross country, and I fell in love with the sport. Ever since then, I have been determined to become the best runner I can. Through daily runs and workouts, I have improved myself tremendously in the last few years. Although I have accomplished so much, I am still striving for greater success. I am willing to push myself in anyway to become a great collegiate runner. My love for the sport is too strong to end as I graduate from my high school, Rutland High. I am unique in the fact that I like to push others, which, in turn, will push me. The strength of my team and class is the best way for me to improve my running and academic abilities. As my teammate or classmates get stronger, I will push myself to also become stronger in a way that is intangible in a setting where only I am present.
