I realize that I don't have the same performances that many recruits but I have only been running track for two years. Since my junior season, I have taken the opportunity to progress with each competition and I plan to continue to progress in my final season this spring. I have seen the work ethic of my teammates that at times is lazy or they have grown content with their performances but that is not me. I know that I have to work harder than someone who has been running longer than I have in order to get the results that I am looking for. Even though my junior year was my first season, I was appointed the captain of the sprint group and I think that this is a great reflection of my dedication to my teammates, responsibility and work ethic. One of my goals this season is to improve my 200 and 400 times because I want to be a member of our relays and contribute to team success. I am also focused on my GPA, which suffered during remote learning when I wasn't focused on my long term goals. I am happy to provide teacher references to support my potential recruitment
