Andrew Fisher '24 Recruiting Profile

My name is Andrew Fisher. I am a current senior at Trinity Christian School and I have decided on studying Legal Studies at Belmont University in college. I have been running competitively since I was about 7 years old when I began cross country. However, in high school I made the switch over to middle distance sprints and I haven't looked back since. My freshman year of the 400 I was running around a 58 and as a junior I was already getting my times down in the 52s. Now, as a senior, I have already seen significant drops in my indoor times from my junior year. In the 300, I brought my pr down by a full second running a 38.09. In the 4x400 I split a 52.6 on a flat 200m track which was a significant improvement from my junior year indoor season. Lastly, in the 500m, which I ran for the first time this season, I ran a 1:09.5 breaking a school record and getting 8th at the Virginia Independent School State Championship. I am going to be continuing to develop as a sprinter throughout the outdoor season and I am looking forward to seeing where my hard work will take me. I have big goals for my last high school track season and I am going to work until I can exceed them.
