Xavier Jones '20 Recruiting Profile

I started running track when I was 12 years old as a way to stay conditioned for tackle football. I started off as an average runner but later fell in love with jumping and have aspired to compete at the collegiate level ever since. I look forward to the value competing at the college level can and will add to my life.

I believe I am very coachable and strive to be one of the hardest working runners and one of the hardest working recruits you’ll find. I train hard year-round and enjoy being a team leader and I try to lead by example. 

In the classroom, I study hard and maintain a high GPA. I also volunteer at local youth training camps, Homeless shelters and I am a member of the Woodbridge (VA) Alumni Chapter of Kappa Alpha Psi, Fraternity, Incorporated.

I want to attend a college where I can push myself in the classroom and on the track. I am open to all options and want to ultimately find the right college match at the highest level of competition possible. I hope to become a great role model for all my peers and make my parents proud.
