Personal Statement
Hello, my name is Brent Coulter. I love to run long distance and I would like to compete in college in the future and possibly as a professional afterwards. I am 5'9" and I weigh 137 lbs. In the past year I have become all-region in the 3200 in the indoor 09/10 season, and became a regional champion in the 3200 in the outdoor 2010 season. This year I have become all-region for the second time in cross country. I displayed leadership skills through my time as co-team captain of the team. I have been running for three years for my high school, and have started running this past summer for an AAU team. I am looking for Division I and II colleges that have good academics with lots of degree options, and is in a region that has mountains. I would also like to be on a team with a strong long distance team that will take an all around distance runner such as myself.
