Running means more to me than just a competition. Nothing gets me more fired up at the end of a gruelingly long day than laying down some fiery 400 repeats on the track. I am inspired every day by my teammates' looks of agony as they enter the finishing stretch of a race. Ultimately, self-improvement has been the foundation of my actions and attitude all of my life. To me this means that I want to be the best person I can be, which in my case includes running, school work (specifically mathematics and sciences), my social life, and keeping a positive outlook at all times.
