John Michael Saldanha '22 Recruiting Profile

My name is John Michael Saldanha, a rising Junior at Morgantown High School with a cumulative GPA of 4.14. In both my freshman and sophomore year I have been awarded varsity letters as well as qualified for the conference all academic team. In addition, I participate in Morgantown Area Robotics (MARS-- a First Robotics Competition hall of fame team), and  played jazz piano for the MHS jazz band. I enjoy serving my community through the local food pantry and spreading my love for STEM with MARS at school events. Track is not only a passion but it has become a way of living. I have competed since the sixth grade and didn’t realize that this was what I wanted to do till eighth grade. As soon as I realized my potential I dedicated my whole life to running and jumping. Not a day in my life goes by without thinking about track and field. I have large goals for my future in track and strive to reach them every day.
