Personal Statement
All thru grade/middle & high school I have placed highly in long & high jumps, & few races.
My high school track/field team-high jump & long jump ....hj 5’9 & lj 20.3’ pr @ moment - due to COVID, we did not have a track team..hope to complete in my senior year..since freshman year, I have been varsity (lettered) .
Sophomore year I placed first in Reginals, but feel just short in Sectionals. It has been a great experience & opportunity, though..hope to do it again.

I would like to attend a diverse school, being the only African American student at my school, I feel I would feel more accepted & comfortable - I would be the first in my family to attend a 4yr college-a goal for my family & I.
