I started my volleyball career my freshman year of high school with no previous experience. I've played for the last three years at DVC (Dolphin Volleyball Club) as a middle hitter and an outside hitter. I am currently in my junior year of high school and I am optimistic for the season to come.
I am a quick learner and have a true passion despite starting my volleyball pathway late. I discovered how much joy the sport provided me and since have played on the DVC 16u 17u and 18u National teams. I had to withdraw from my sophomore season 3/4's of the way through due to my high school golf season kicking off. This year my junior year I hope to obtain a greater level of play and competition. I have removed many unnecessary scheduling conflicts from my life in order to develop my personal game. Having to leave the golf team at my school when I was number two seat on varsity was a difficult decision for me considering I have been playing competitively since the sixth grade. I was gifted with great skill and I learned many aspects of being a good sportsman but overall had to leave the sport behind. I recognized that I was walking away from the opportunity to be (2) a starter for the team my junior year. I came to the conclusion to focus on volleyball and further my knowledge and skill in the sport. I believe the two-sports helped to further my athletic capability and create many opportunities for self-growth and collegiate advancement. I tried to manage my two athletic schedules for as long as i could but ultimately had to make the sacrifice for the sport I truly loved and I'm excited to begin this new chapter of my life along with the season ahead of me. I am currently playing for Dolphin volleyball Club on the 18U national team in the 2020-2021 season.
