David Kepic '24 Recruiting Profile

Hello there, my name is David Kepic, and I really want to play volleyball in college. My entire family has played volleyball throughout high school and college at various levels, and I didn't know that was something I wanted to do until recently. I've bounced from sport to throughout my youth, but when I started playing volleyball my freshman year of HS, I knew it was the sport for me. Ever since then I've always put my all into volleyball (despite some bouts of sickness and injuries) but never knew how to take it to the next level. I played club my sophomore year, then in the school season as well, and despite not being able to join a club over the summer season for personal reasons, I did join a beach volleyball program as well as a indoor volleyball camp later in the summer (both under the UofA). It was here that I was told about the prospect of getting recruited, and how it could be a viable option for me to play volleyball into my college years. From then it's been my goal to get recruited and continue playing this sport that I love and enjoy every moment of, even the hard ones, throughout my college years. I look forward to not only playing on a court in front of crowds of spectators, but also being a member of a team greater than me- and forming lasting bonds with my teammates that will help all of us grow in this sport all of us have a drive to continue playing
