When I first started volleyball I immediately fell in love with the game. Very soon after I would try to get my hands on a volleyball no matter the time of day. I continue to perfect my craft every chance I get, whether it's club, high school team, or beach and grass tournaments. I find new ways to play and am open to feedback from coaches, teammates or even opponents in order to better my game.

On and off the court I am a fierce competitor. When I play, I am the energy on the court that dictates how we perform as a team. As Team Captain, I have learned that a personal win isn’t always a team win. My attitude towards the game is to do what's best for the team. Doing what's best for the team might not be trying to hammer the ball down for the glory of a game point but to roll shot it and win the game.

My goal  as an athlete includes becoming a role model for the younger generation and even my peers. I hope to become a player that people aspire to be, and not for just the way I play but for the way I lead and communicate. I love this sport and will relentlessly pursue the next level of competitive play.
