Personal Statement

I believe I am a strong candidate because of my willingness to put hard work into the things that I enjoy and the things that help me be successful in life. Volleyball is something that I love, and I put a lot of time and effort into it year-round. I have a love for volleyball that drives me to work harder every day to reach my goal of being a collegiate-level volleyball player. I am a good student, and I am in my school's STEM academy, which has required me to take several college-level classes. I will graduate with my STEM diploma, which I believe will have prepared me well for college-level coursework. I want to go to nursing school, and my ultimate career goal is to be a Nurse Anesthetist.

AwardsI am currently in the only STEM program in the school district. It is a program that you have to be accepted into. I will graduate with my STEM diploma. Most of my classes are either college-level classes or A.P classes. I have been able to keep my grades up while also playing both volleyball and baseball year-round.
ActivitiesI am involved in my church youth group, and have been involved with several service projects including helping the elderly clean up their yards in the fall, and working at a food bank in Boise, Idaho and Salt Lake City, Utah.
