Marcin Piechocki '16 Recruiting Profile

Currently I am ending my junior year at St. Patrick High School. Volleyball has been a passion of mine since freshman year. Through my life it have been very active in many sports but my freshman year I decided to settle on volleyball as I made varsity. From that moment on I have worked tirelessly to be the best I can be. As a person I am loyal, honest, and hard working. If I am not performing at he best along with my team, I do anything to get to the top. I have had a long journey to be the player that I currently am and I would never take back all the hours I took into improving my game. This season we have improved our previous seasons record of 17-18 to a solid 22-13. 

I am just the same way with my academics. Until high school I never realized the potential I have as a student- athlete. As I realized that I can be a great person both on an off the court, I dramatically changed my focus. From freshman year until now I have made myself into an honors student being involved with the National Honors Society and maintaining a high GPA. My classes went from two honors all the way onto all honors and AP. Even though I do not get straight A's I do enjoy the challenge of competing with the top students in my class instead of getting an easy A in regular classes. 

Playing volleyball on a collegiate level is my dream. I strive on improving my game daily and do anything for my team. In college, I hope to be on a team as committed as me to improving and reaching over our maximum potential.
