Kyle Saurer '23 Recruiting Profile

Verses like Colossians 3:23 have long inspired me, saying, "Whatever you do, work at it with all your heart, as working for the lord." This work ethic and mentality not only applies to my career on a court, but also in a classroom, with peers, or in any aspect of life. My striving for excellence is reflected in my 3.92 unweighted GPA, my 96th percentile PSAT scores, and my various academic awards and achievements. On the court I have led my teams to be Palos Summer Bash Champions (2018-19 14 Elite), AAU National Championships bronze medalists (2018-19 14 Elite), Gold medalists at the 2019 A2 summer camp, gold medalists at the USA division Winter Championships (2019-20 16 Alpha), Palos point series second place finishers(2019-20 16 Alpha), and gold bracket finishers in the Open bracket at the Dennis Lafata Classic in St. Louis (2019-20 16 Alpha). Other accomplishments include being awarded "Best Setter" in the 2020 16s division at the Palos Point Series and being named to the class of 2023 JVA boys watch list. I have now made both the 02-04 Great Lakes region team and have been selected to train with the HP Boys Youth Continental team. I have and will continue to work hard and strive for excellence both on and off the court.
