My name is Tyler Johnwick and I'm a 6'7" (still growing) middle hitter from Lombard, IL. I currently play club for Ultimate VBC and attend Glenbard East High School. My volleyball journey begun at a very young age. Both of my parents played college volleyball and have coached at the club, high school, and collegiate levels. I started playing club volleyball in 5th grade and my passion for the sport was born.
I am looking for a university to continue my love of volleyball and help me grow into the best athlete that I can be. I love to compete and understand it takes extra reps to reach my goals. I want to be a part of a team with a strong team chemistry and sense of family. I am looking for a school with strong academic programs in Math, Science, Engineering, and Computer Science. I hope to attend a university that will challenge me both on the court and in the classroom.
