Jacob Butz '21 Recruiting Profile

I am Jacob Butz, a Grade 11 student-athlete with a passion for Volleyball from Weyburn, Saskatchewan, Canada.  My objective for college or university is to continue to play volleyball and obtain a Kinesiology Degree. I desire to be a part of a strong volleyball program and will be an asset to the team. I am a strong team leader on and off the court.  I am always looking for ways to improve my game and the game of others around me. I am extremely agile and athletic with a 40" vertical which helps with attacking on the offensive end and blocking on the defensive end.  I will be an asset to any team because I am versatile outside hitter that can play all positions in the front row and back row.  I also participate in other sports as well. I was a member of the under 15 team Saskatchewan basketball team and I am also a High Jumper with a personal best of 1.85 meters.

Not only am I strong on the court I am also strong academically, as a Grade 10, I was a part of the honor roll and this year my marks are continuing to improve. I am very excited to hopefully be given an opportunity to play at the next level, and if I am given it I will make sure that I make the most of the opportunity put in front of me.
