Matthew Maxwell '19 Recruiting Profile

It is my desire to play collegiate volleyball at a very high level and to be committed to the team for four years. I have much high level experience playing Libero on the No. 1 ranked team in the state of New Jersey for the past two years and winning two state titles. My freshman year I was named Third Team All- State and First Team All- South Jersey,  while after my Sophomore year I was named Second Team All-State, First Team All-Shore Conference and again First Team All-South Jersey. I am very much dedicated to the sport of volleyball as I have grown up all my life being around the game as my dad has been the high school coach for the last 17 years. No matter what the circumstances are I am willing to help my team out. This year I may be needed to set for my high school team. Also I understand the importance of staying in shape and working out on my own off the court and staying conditioned. During high school my education has always come first before volleyball and I never let the game get in the way of poor grades.
