Robel Mehreteab '23 Recruiting Profile

Volleyball has for a longtime been my favorite thing to do in life. There were no other sports or activities that I was as invested in. I would  always look for new opportunities and places to participate, play with my friends or family and watch videos on it . I love looking back and seeing how I’ve progressed. A sign showing that I really liked volleyball was my enjoyment of it even when I wasn’t playing as well as I could, or if we weren’t winning when playing a game. When it came to most other sports, I only was excited about it if I was doing well, while for volleyball I’m just happy that I get to play. I love to see my improvement in the sport and I really think that having something that I’m so devoted to betters me as a person.  I enjoy helping players with less experience, as people have been generous with their time and efforts with me and I want to keep that going.
