Alek Reymond '21 Recruiting Profile

I grew up playing sports all the time. I started playing soccer when I was three and have been playing ever since. I also grew up going camping with my family, and a lot of my time was spent playing sports. The first time I played volleyball outside of school was when I was in 8th grade.The next year I tried out for the Junior varsity team, and I came to love the sport. Since volleyball is my favorite sport I’d love to experience it at the highest level possible during my college experience.

As far as academics go I like to challenge myself. I am happy with my grades throughout high school, yet I am still working to improve my academics and would like to get an even higher GPA next year. In college I am striving to become an Electrical engineer and I will not let anything stop me from achieving this goal. As far as hardships go my life has been relatively free of them. However, I believe that I have been prepared for anything that comes my way and look forward to future challenges. I am a very empathetic person and I enjoy making friends with everyone I meet. This is why I enjoy being part of a team.  I get along with people very well and believe that I could become a valuable part of any school, and any team that would have me. As a member of that team I would look to become friends with my team and staff quickly, and look to improve my skills in volleyball and become a valuable member to the team.
