Throughout my life I have always pushed myself to my limits and capabilities, whether it be in the classroom, on a ball court, or on a job site. I started playing volleyball in my sophomore year of high school, and was among the first members to make and join the varsity team. At first I did not get a lot of playing time, and only subbed into games every now and then for the first few weeks. Slowly as I began to improve my playing abilities, my coach noticed my commitment to the game, which had allowed me became starter towards the end of the season. In my junior year volleyball season I earned the title of MVP for my schools boys volleyball team, during the season I played a pivotal role in leading my team in its first ever playoff run, where we competed with some of the best volleyball-athletes in PSAL. In my upcoming senior year I hope to continue playing a key leadership role within the volleyball team, and continue to compete with elite teams in my conference. I will continue to work and do everything in my power to make sure that I am able to see my goals and talents come to fruition, and will do all that I can to preform as an upstanding person and athlete.
