Jeremy Swartz '11 Recruiting Profile

Hi, my name is Jeremy Swartz. I stand 6'8" and am 200 lbs. I made 1st team all-state in my junior year season. In the summer of 2010, I played for Yorktowne NEVA Black at the Junior National Volleyball Championships in Austin, TX and I also played for KRVA at the HP Tournament in Wisconsin Dells. I am seen as a leader by my teammates on the court and also, in return, strive every play to be the leader that my teammates demand of me. I am also a quick learner and a good listener; I listen to my coach's advice and utilize it on the court to make myself a better player. I want to go to Penn State (University Park) for three reasons. The main reason is that I want to play on the men's volleyball team there. The second reason is because this campus has an excellent program for the major I want to pursue, which is Architecture. The third reason is convenience; the drive is only forty-five minutes from my home. If I cannot attend Penn State, I still want to attend a Division I school. The size of the school does not matter to me. Although my desire to play at a Division I school is very high, I am willing to play at a Division II or at a Division III level.
