Hi, my name is Xander Isom. I am currently a junior in high school with a weighted GPA of 3.588 and an unweighted GPA of 4.129.
I was exposed to and afforded the opportunity to participate in team sports at the early age of 3 through my parent’s involvement with the YMCA. I have discovered a love for many different sports throughout the past 14 years to include: soccer, football, basketball, roller and ice hockey, track, and volleyball. I have also developed a passion for fitness, nutrition, and an overall healthy lifestyle. I believe I was born to be an athlete!
I was initially introduced to grass volleyball by my parents in early 2021 as they play recreationally. I then began playing coed volleyball at the YMCA fall of 2021. I have attended multiple volleyball camps ans skills clinics at USC and Erskine College.
I am competitive by nature and a strong contender by design. I continuously strive to be the best that I can be physically, mentally, and emotionally. I follow a lifestyle plan that I mapped out for myself a year ago. This includes meal planning and prepping, tracking macros, weight training 4 days per week, daily stretching, daily affirmations, and active recovery.
I study college and professional volleyball film to better learn the sport. I am extremely coachable and am open to all positive criticism.
I was excited to earn a spot on the 1st all male Lake Murray Volleyball club team!
My collegiate plan is to major in Physical Therapy and be an all-star athlete. My goal is to go pro
