My name is Sean Zheng and I am currently in my junior year of high school. I started water polo when I was ten and since then, it has been one of my top priorities in life, second only to my performance in school. My ability to maintain high grades while still being able to attend all practices, games, and tournaments shows my commitment to both sports and academics. Additionally, I play the piano, volunteer, and am an ambassador for the school. Since I play both high school and club water polo, I am in the pool year-round, so I am always conditioning, improving my skills, and learning new things about the sport. I am a starter at the club ORWP, and I have been the MVP for Polytechnic School's varsity team for my freshman and sophomore years. Additionally, I have made both second team and first team for my league within my first two years of playing in high school. In the water, I am always looking to improve, whether that be by racing with my teammates during swim sets, asking my coach questions about techniques and skills, or paying attention to others' mistakes and seeing what I can learn from them. Especially during my high school season, I try to be a leader on the team that newer players can look up to and learn from. I motivate my teammates to swim faster and push themselves harder, and I lead team meetings before and after games. Please consider me for your team and thank you very much for your time.
