My dream since I started playing softball at seven years old was to play at the collegiate level...I love the game. People say that I'm a different kind of person when I'm out there. My passion for the game has always just come natural. I don't mind working hard or doing extra because I don't see it as work. I see it as focusing and developing my skills to improve my ability any way that I can so that I am better than I was the day before. I'm always ready and willing to learn and try new things. I'm a junior and just recently learned how to slap/drag bunt from the left side. I am currently leadoff hitter because I have power, but can now switch it up and play small ball when needed. I'm different from other recruits because I have faced so much adversity in my life and experienced so many things that could have made me just give up and fall into the stereotype of not going to college and not being successful. I lost my mother less than a month after my first birthday, one of my closest friends at 15, and haven't lived with my biological father since I was 14. Instead of letting these things break me and make me give up, every part of my story has given me drive. I have the drive to be something great and the attitude and passion to never stop until I get to where I want to be. I will do whatever it takes to make the people that genuinely love and support me proud.
