Personal Statement

I've played softball since I was four years old. I love to practice and challenge myself everyday to get better. I want to be my toughest opponent. My goal is to continue my growth to reach my full potential-earning and being accountable for the results. Very recently I had the opportunity to learn the importance of leadership. This high school season our softball team lacked leadership which created so many obstacles. I then realized it was my responsibility to inspire my teammates to rise above adversity. Through this I learned how to be selfless and a better teammate.
