Payton Kinsley '24 Recruiting Profile

i grew up watching my mom play ball and it made me fall in love with the sport. i've been playing since i was 3 and my dream for a couple years now have been to go to college play softball and then try and get on the team canada's womans softball team. my goals in college are to play softball for the years i am there for and then move on to a bigger team. this has been my dream for so long. one player that inspired me to want to play in college is Rachel Garcia and Cat Ostermen. i think i am a good candidate because i am very coachable, a quick learner, i have a good additude,  very atheltic, i feel i am a pretty good catcher and i'm willing to learn more.  i'll work hard for the things that need to be done.  softball means the absoloute world to me. when i step on a new field before i play it's the best feeling.  i had one goal in life to hit it over the fence before my mom and i finally did. it was the best feeling in the world when i hit it over. it was like all the sadness and everything left my body, when i made contact with the ball and it felt so good and then i saw it go over. it made me the happiest person in the world when i accomplished one of my goals.
