Gracie McNaughton '26 Recruiting Profile

Hi Coach!  My name is Gracie McNaughton and I am a loud catcher, an aggressive baserunner, love the action as a middle infielder and making big throws as an outfielder. If you are looking for an athlete who is competitive, positive, a hard working teammate and always looking to improve, I am your girl. 

As a kid, my parents put me in every sport you can imagine, but it wasn’t until I tried softball at age 7 that I was finally hooked. 

Since then, softball has become more than a sport for me… it has become a lifestyle. I treasure the life lessons it has taught me so far; from self discipline in tuning up my individual skills on my own time, to working hard with my team, getting the reps in and being a positive voice on and off the field. I know that I am a strong leader for my team, and I always give 100% effort, whether in a game or at practise.

Attending post-secondary school to further my education has always been my plan, but to be able to do that while playing softball, at any level, would be an honour.  I know that I can play with the best.
