Personal Statement

 Hello, my name is Briza Zacharias and I will be a member of the 2023 graduating class. I LOVE softball and cannot wait to play ball in College !

 This year I was chosen to play on Team Canada at the International Challenge in Colorado. It was one the of the best things I have ever done!

 I work hard on and off the field to strengthen my skills, and am diligent in the classroom.  I aspire to reach my personal goals and give my best to my teammates to create an excellent team atmosphere.  My ball family is a massive part of my life.  Watching my older siblings compete at the collegiate level has allowed me see how being a college-level athlete is rewarding in all aspects of life, not just on the field. 

 I love playing 3rd base, MIF and OF.  Family, school and softball are three of the most important aspects of my life, and have helped shaped me into the woman I am today.  I am confident that my faith, determination, and work ethic, along with my intense passion for the game, will help me find success in both my academic and softball career.

  • Attend the yearly winter camp that the local softball association hosts that has sessions for offensive and defensive work and I also attend the pitching camp sessions.

  • 2021 winter camp will be my 4th year training with the 222's program. This camp works on defensive and offensive skills with a pitching component. The camp runs October to December.

  • This is my 4th season playing on this club travel team. We practice two weekends a month throughout the fall , winter and spring and we attend tournaments and showcases in the USA.
