Sophie Kreese '21 Recruiting Profile

I am a 5'8 right handed pitcher from Lloydminster, Alberta Canada.  

I am currently pitching for the Lady Bobcats at East Georgia State College and will enter my second year this fall.  I have pitched for the Lloydminster Rebels for 2 years and now have been pitching for the Lloydminster Liners A team for 6 years.    I have a 4.0 GPA and have achieved Honor Roll graduating from High School in 2021.  I am looking for a high quality educational program in which I can still play competitively in the sport I love.  As a sophmore in my 2 year Associate of Arts program I am looking for a 3rd and 4th year school to complete my degree and still play softball.  

I have always played team sports and the connection with teammates is very important to me.  I have been captain or co-captain on various teams and I enjoy taking a leadership role.  I am a positive player who is determined and hardworking.  I take feedback well and want to be the best player I can be.   I feel I would fit in NAIA, Div II or Div III level and I am open to playing the highest competitive level according to my potential. 

This past year, 2021-2022 I was a freshman at East Georgia State College, studying psychology.  I will return for year 2 of my program and continue to play with the EGSC Lady Bobcats.  I want to find a competitive school to complete my degree and continue to play softball.
