Hailey Hudson '22 Recruiting Profile

My name is Hailey Hudson. I've been playing softball since my Grade 6 year, and I graduate in 2022. I've been a multi-sport athlete for most of my life, also playing Ringette and Volleyball for many years. Now, I am focusing on softball and would love to play at the post-secondary level.

I primary play first base, but can play other infield positions as well. As a taller player, I bring good reach to my play at first, and I feel that I make good game decisions. I take pride in being a vocal and supportive teammate.

At the plate, I'm a strong contact hitter (#1 in batting average on Travel/Club Teams the last 3 years and top 3 previously), and adding power all the time. I bat left, and can hit to the opposite field really well, which is a big part of my batting average and on-base percentages. 

Academically, I have strong grades and I'm a studious worker. I'd like to pursue a career in Psychology, which will be the focus of my schooling. I believe that I have something to contribute to any team that has me!
