Brynlee Rice '22 Recruiting Profile

My name is Brynlee Rice, 2022 middle infielder with solid defense and a strong bat.

I have been playing ball for 10+ years, I started out playing community softball then early on decided to make the switch to baseball and have been playing ever since. During my tenure playing baseball I have won multiple tier 1 provincial championships, and one Western Canadian championship. I have pitched a complete game and hit 2 over the fence home runs. Outside of my regular season I play Team Alberta female baseball, I've been playing Team Alberta for 6 years winning 1 gold medal and 2 silver medals and in 2019 I was awarded with the Alberta Female Player of the Year. I am very thankful for all the coaches I've had over the years who have believed in me and have given me opportunities to prove myself and succeed. Outside of baseball I am a multi-sport athlete spending time playing competitive volleyball, competitive basketball and enjoy training in the JET facility. I have been playing volleyball and basketball for 5 years playing on the top team every year as a setter in volleyball and point guard in basketball, as well as being chosen to captain both for a few seasons. We have won many tournaments and league championships including  competing in zones a few times. During my free time I enjoy helping coach younger baseball teams and volunteer in the community.

I have always enjoyed staying fit and active but in the past 2 years I have really grown a passion for going to the gym, I love to improve my strength and ability and setting new goals for myself, especially love the feeling after a hard workout and your tired and knowing this is just going to make you that much better and stronger for the future.
