I have been playing softball for 9 years. I am a RH pitcher and infield utility player, with experience at all positions. I am a leader on the field and have excellent "ball sense". Over the years, I have improved and developed with each of my coaches. I am a smart situational batter, consistently hitting in the 3 or 4 slot for power, but I can also bunt or sacrifice fly as needed. Academically, I study hard to maintain an honor roll average and have been an honor student since the 6th grade. I am seeking to find a good match both academically and competitively; I would like to find a college where I can achieve my goal of attaining a degree in psychology and play ball as well.
I have worked as a softball umpire for the past two years, including umping in a provincial championship tournament. This has given me the opportunity to understand the game from a different perspective. I have also been involved in Girl Guides of Canada for 11 years and am now at the highest level of this organization.
Softball is a passion for me, and it is my dream to play collegiate ball. I have a strong work ethic, I am very coachable, and I am a team player. I want to be part of an organization where I can contribute to a team effort and make my team, myself, and my family proud.
