Kasey McIntosh '26 Recruiting Profile

I have been playing softball since I was 9. I love being a part of a team and working together to be our best. I love to compete and I thrive under pressure in games which I believe is an important attribute I bring as a pitcher. This last season our U17A team won Gold at U17AW provincials earning a spot to represent Alberta as AB1 at the Western Canadian Championships. At the Western Championships we won Gold and I received the Top Pitcher Award as well as the Playoffs MVP award. In addition I was also picked up to play for AB3 at Nationals. Last season our U15A team won Gold at Alberta provincials and was successful competing at Nationals. I work hard in sport and in my academics receiving honors. My goal is to pursue a degree in Psychology and focus in sport and performance psychology where I can help athletes be at their best mentally.

I started volunteering helping younger pitchers 2 years ago and last winter began working part time as a Coach running pitching clinics in the off season. I love working with the athletes, listening to their goals, creating training plans and working with them to help them improve and achieve their goals. Being a part of their growth and progress is very rewarding and something I want to continue with in the future.

I want to continue playing softball as long as possible and am looking for the right collegiate school to do this while pursuing my education.
