McKenna "Bub" Feringa '21 Recruiting Profile

Hi ~ my name is McKenna Feringa.  On the field, my friends call me Bub!  I am a 2021 Lefty Power Hitter and RH Pitcher/1st Base from Glendale, Arizona.  My dream is to lead my college team to a WCWS Championship!  We're going all the way!  I would like to Coach College Softball and plan on studying business and sports management in college.  I am a Student-Athlete and my teachers and coaches like my work ethic and my poise on the mound.  I love to spin the ball and look the batter in the eye!

I play for Cactus High School - Varsity.  I am in my sophomore year and we are heading to the post season.  Last year I pitched the 4A State Championship.  We finished as State Runner's Up in a very close game.  We have one goal this year... to take State!

I play club ball for AZ Storm 18u/16u Mathis/Holtord.  I was recently named to the FloSoftball Hot 100 for the Class of 2021 (#95) for a second straight year!  And... AZ Storm was ranked #1 by Extra Inning Softball for the 2018 14u Travel Team National Rankings!!!   It's going to be a great summer coming up.  In 2018 we did well:  PGF 14u Premier - 3rd Place; Colorado Sparkler Juniors 14u Power Pool - Tournament Champions; and not too long ago in 2016 we also won the Colorado Sparkler Juniors 12u - Tournament Champions.  This summer we are heading to Zoom Into June, Colorado Fireworks 16u Power Pool, The Demarini Invitational and PGF 16u Premier.
