Alexa Quiroz '26 Recruiting Profile

Hello, my name is Alexa. I am currently a Junior at Betty Fairfax High School. Many of my coaches and teammates describe me as hard-working, coachable, determined, disciplined, a leader, and dedicated. I have been playing softball since I was just 3 years old, and started playing club in 10u at the age of 9. I discovered my love for the game at a very young age. 

I am currently playing competitive softball with AZ Hotshots Murphy. I am practicing and getting better and better all year round. I love to be on the field anticipating the next play or feeling the adrenaline rush I feel the moment I step up to the plate. I have had many setbacks in my career, including taking a break, but eventually finding the love for the game and pursuing that passion. When it comes to academics, I currently take all IB classes. I hope to get into a school with high academics. I am also working to find a school where I am able to play softball at a high level and advance my education and game while pursuing a degree in Nursing or Pre-Med to later work in the medical field. I am really invested into my community as well, not only doing extracurriculars but I love to help in my community. I love to make a difference in any way I can and hope to continue making an impact as I get older.
