Hello, my name is Lita Vorseth. I am a 5’7 infielder from Mesa, AZ. I graduate in 2021 and have played on the Varsity Softball team at Dobson High School since my freshman year. I have been selected to the East Valley All Region team each season and I am a co-captain on the Mustangs 2020 team. Prior to high school, I grew up a seasonal multisport athlete. I enjoyed playing in baseball, softball, soccer, football, basketball and swimming leagues as well as participating in track. After reaching high school, I decided to focus on academics and softball. I am relatively new to club softball scene and have enjoyed my time playing with the 16U AZ Hotshots Delsante.
Playing sports while balancing academics has taught me respect, teamwork, desire, and given me confidence. Through softball, I have made lifelong friendships, learned how to be a leader, and it has taught me how to see the positive in each teammate. Being out on the softball field and working hard is extremely rewarding for me.
Academically, I enjoy that challenges that my course load presents, including honors and AP classes. I am currently ranked 69th out of 594 in my class. I think that I will be an excellent representative of the college that I attend. My determination and perseverance will not only be an asset to the team, but to the academic community as well. I look forward to college and the challenges and opportunities that it will present. I believe that being a student athlete is the epitome of a successful individual.
