Alayna Hicks '19 Recruiting Profile

“A 5’7” IF/UT/P athlete who plays both SS and 2^nd as well as OF/P where her athleticism allows her to make plays up the middle as well as in the 5 / 6 hole, or on the run. Additionally, Alayna works hard as a right-handed situational hitter, putting the ball in play to all fields with the power to also put it over the fence. We use Alayna strategically in the 5,6,7 spots in the lineup. As a pitcher, we use Alayna as a middle/late innings pitcher for her movement. She uses her drop ball and change-up in concert to get the batters to swing at all of her downward movement.” – Coach Marco
