Trinity Williams Personal Statement
My name is Trinity Williams, and I'm a 5'8" right-handed pitcher. I have been pitching and playing travel ball since I was 10 years old. Growing up in a softball family has allowed me to enjoy the game and prepare for the next level. My great grandpa and great uncle pitched on several men's fastpitch teams. In addition, I have two older sisters who play softball for the University at Buffalo and a younger sister and brother. Therefore, I understand the commitment and dedication necessary to play at the college level. I have been on varsity since my freshman year and was the primary pitcher for River Valley High School during my sophomore year, accumulating over 100 strikeouts.
I continue to grow and improve on each one of my pitches. Currently, I go to powerhouse mechanics with coach Jason out of San Diego, Ca. I have learned that there is always room to grow and improve. My curve, change, and rise are my strongest pitches, and I have a good command of each. I work hard and have the great family support needed to succeed in the future.
When choosing a school, I am looking for a good fit. I am open to going anywhere in the country. I am fortunate to have a full scholarship that includes all my needs to pursue my undergraduate and graduate work. The Fort Mojave Indian Tribe provides scholarships to all of its members. I am open-minded about colleges and hope to find a college that fits me best. I will be happy if I can receive a great education and play softball. As of right now, I want to become a dentist and will take biology as my undergraduate.
