For as long as I can remember I have wanted to study medicine and become a pediatric surgeon. I believe that I can truly have an impact on helping children with their medical needs. Something that is unique about my academic career, is that I have been part of a bilingual Spanish Immersion program since Kindergarten and I am completely bilingual. Both on and off the field, I am a hard worker and dedicated teammate. I love softball and have been around baseball/softball since I was 8 weeks old. I traveled often as a young child to watch my dad play MLB baseball. I have enjoyed the opportunity to grow and develop as a softball player with the help and support of my coaches. My hitting coach Gracie Goulder, who played softball for Georgia and UCLA has shown me the hard work and dedication that is required in order to take my game to the next level. I would love the opportunity to continue playing a sport that I love in college, while pursuing my academic goals of one day becoming a doctor.
